I now know what it means to have a lazy weekend because that is exactly what I had. Lazing around the room, spending almost the entire day in bed just relaxing. Getting up only for the necessary meals and then snuggling back into bed. You have been such a joy to have known. I can still remember the first time I met you at Gloria Jeans, and I especially remember ur rather interesting duck themed umbrella. You're someone who is always willing to go the extra mile because you genuinely care. I remember you were there to cheer me up with the Blue Day Book when I was down, you brought me food when I was lazy and hungry, you made me good food when I had cravings. In your own unique way, you're definitely one of a kind.

After last weeks episode at Amber, it was a relieve that last night, there was not a cloud in the sky, and not a queue in sight! That in itself got the night off to a pretty good start. Music was pretty good, drinks were aplenty and as always, nothing could beat the company I had. We danced, laughed, and watched the guys do their gay thing after they had one too many drinks. Other than the guy with the bleeding forehead, and some pushing and shoving on the dance floor, the night was pretty enjoyable.

Happy Birthday Sophia!

After a month of non-activity, it's party party party time yet again. Now that everyone is done with their exams, they're out having the times of their lives. Although, the fact that I'm working and hence weeknight activities are a big nono for me, tends to be forgotten. But that has never stopped me before and it won't start now!

Friday night at Amber. Such a BAD BAD night to be out. Rain. More rain. Wet hair. Not a good look. Standing under the umbrella - not much help. Made it worse. Got rained on by the raindrops running off other people's brollies. Long long queue. Average music. Crazy couple making out and groping without a care in the world. Great friends. Good company. Sober. China Bar. Tired.

Saturday night. Bowling @ Strike. Air hockey competition. Ben - all cool, calm and collected was the reigning champ! Nice place to hang out. Bowling, Daytona, pinball, air hockey, pool tables and a bar. Enough entertainment to keep anyone occupied for a night.

Happy Birthday Ju!!!

Juju! I'll always remember him as the guy who told me the "Why did the turtle cross the road?" joke. That cracked me up so bad, even till today. I've never really ever had a serious conversation with Ju, coz he's so goddamn sarcastic about everything! But he's got the best sense of humour. Just gotta love that about him! I feel disgustingly bloated. *urgh* It's the time of the month yet again. Everything is out of whack. I don't mind the bigger boobs, but I can do away with the bloated stomach, the pimples and the having to pee every hour. I swear I've gone to the toilet more than 10 times today. And I haven't really drank that much water either!

On a more sombre note, a friend of mine passed away last night. I was not particularly close to him, but yet my heart is saddened. I will remember him as the happy and jovial guy that he was. May he rest in peace. And may his family and those who loved him be granted the strength and serenity to go through this difficult time.

Finally, the great Guy Tan turns 21. No more sneaking into casinos, no more being labelled the little shit. Welcome to the wonderful world of adulthood - the world of responsibility, the world of decisions, the world of independence. It's peculiar how we've gotten to know each other. I remember meeting you 4 - 5 years ago in Bangsar. You however, don't remember!!! *glares* But somehow through some mutual acquaintances, we got reacquainted again last year. And the rest, as they say, is history.

You have been such a great friend to me.You didn't even know me but yet you went out of your way to accomodate my travel requests from the barren wasteland into civilisation! Such generosity! I always tell you that you are too nice for your own good... but I think that it is this exact quality that defines who you are. We've had great conversations, about great nothingness, and we've had great laughs about many things. The way your mind works will always remain a mystery to me. Sometimes, the ideas that you lay before me, are like a complete breath of fresh air. I can safely say that you are the only person who knows all my secrets, all my quirks
and all my qualms. And despite all that, you have never judged. Instead you smiled and told me you were glad I was OK. I'm amazed that we've only known each other for a year. I wish I had met you sooner.

We don't talk much these days, what with you tied down and stressed out with uni and exams. Good luck with all of that - hang in there for just a few more weeks alright? And your super super belated birthday dinner on me when we catch up okay?
