28.9.05Glucose level: 4.1Cholestrol level: 4.43 I am healthy. Hoorah. I must remember that I stopped doing certain things for a reason. Because they were for the best. Don't know why I thought it would be any different. Wishful thinking maybe. But I think it's all part of the process of moving on. You have to constantly test your decision over and over again. Chances are, you'll fall flat on your face each time you try. The thing is, the more you fall, the less painful it gets. You learn how to break the fall, you learn how to pick yourself up, you learn how to heal the wounds. And eventually, you'll figure a way to walk around the hurdle instead of tripping over it all the time. And then you move on. Stinky Penang Coffee House22.9.05I stink!! I stink!! I stink!! I smell like grease and oil. Penang Coffee House seriously needs to get better ventilation in the kitchen area.. or better yet, put up a wall between the kitchen and the customers.I have resorted to not showering before I go to PCH. I remember the last time I went there, right after I showered. I came out smelling like fried rice mixed with alot of other smells.. mee goreng + laksa + satay + char kuay teow + etc... I got home, took a shower, and believe it or not, I STILL smelt like oil! The stink just wouldn't go away... (or maybe I didn't shower properly.. hmmmm)... Nonetheless.. asam laksa.. YUM.. how very satisfying. Ni hao ma?19.9.05I have been drowning myself in soppy Chinese series ever since I finished my exams. I know it SOUNDS pretty sad, but it's not really! I've been going around singing "Oh Baby baby, my baby baby.." by F4 from Meteor Garden and driving everyone insane and embarassing everyone in public! *haha*There isn't much to do anymore these days - seems like we've done everything 100 times over and there hasn't been any new fads lately, except drinking, which I don't do much of. And honestly, there really isn't anything better than sitting at home, rugged up when the weather is shitty and cold outside, reading a book or watching some telly. Although, I have to admit that it is quite sad that I have to read the Malay subs to watch the shows! *har har* But you know what! I think my Chinese has made a small improvement. Which is a good thing, no? One of my regrets is not learning how to speak Chinese when I was younger. It's definitely much harder to pick it up when you're all grown up. Heh, my parents should have made me learn!!! And having a Taiwanese bf isn't much help either. He refuses to speak Chinese to me and laughs at me when I do. And then he blames me for all the lousy broken Manglish he picks up. I speak perfectly fine English OK!*hrmph* I haven't blogged for awhile and I feel it. Putting words on to paper, or on to screen is becoming difficult. I suddenly realise how hard it is to string two sentences together. *urgh* I'll give up for today. Try again tomorrow perhaps. Birthday wishes14.9.05The month of September is absolute havoc. There's a birthday every other day. All these parents getting frisky on new year's eve i tell ya... tsktsktsk.
*oops* I know i was supposed to call you back on your birthday but I kinda fell asleep! Soz! For your present, you can have the pleasure of a close-up look at my fingers next time to satisfy your finger fetish!
LAUGH FOR ME CLOWN!!! *hugs* Hope you had a fabulous time last night. Remember, sharing is caring!!! HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY FAI!... Good luck with the movie and all the exciting things happening in your life. You sure are one person who knows how to enjoy the good things in life! HAPPY BIRTHDAY PRISCILLA!... youuuuu lucky girl. Paris and all. I hope you had a ball in the most romantic city in the world! And if I get my timing right, I hope to see you soon! ...still alive10.9.05*yawns* It sure is a relief now that the dreaded exam is over. Although, I dreamt last night that i failed it. *oh oh* In celebration, I spent the whole day lazing around today, watching VCDs for 12 hours straight. Which reminds me, I haven't had dinner, or lunch, or breakfast yet. *hrmnn*The lovely Yen treated some of us to a home cooked chicken with asparagus dinner last night. *yummy* Since our younger days, I would never expect to see Yen and asparagus and baby spinach in the same room. We were very anti-greens. But she's trying to be healthy now, kononnya! Doesn't want to get constipated. I always get asked whether I get constipated from my lack of vegetables. FRUITS my friends, FRUITS! Anyways, I love her new apartment. It's got a winter garden and everything's very japanese and zen. Very cosy.
