Who would have thought that 9 cents could make such a big difference. Really, how many of us would take the time and make the effort to pick up even a 10 cent coin on the street, if we happened to come across it? Would a saving of 9 cents a week make any difference to any of us? That would equate to a saving of $4.68 a year, or a latte and a half.

But that 9 cents is exactly what made the difference. In the grand scheme of an $80M project, 9 cents was all it took for us to lose it. The 2 months of stress and hard work, eventually came down to 9 cents. *blah* Disappointed am I. And here I was looking forward to a big Christmas bonus!!!

Sydney was uneventfully relaxing.

Wednesday : Wollongong. Nan Tien temple. Pushy nuns. Baby boy. Monk statues. Vegetarian drumstick. Family dinner. Migraine.

Thursday: Macquarie. Asam Laksa. ABC Kids. Babysitting. Osso Bucco. Herbal Chicken.

Friday: More ABC Kids. Sesame Street. Bananas in Pyjamas. Salmon. Oysters. Fish.

Saturday: Char Kuay Teow. Home.

Being on my own for such a long time only made me realise how good it is to be able to spend some time with family.
