it's melbourne cup day today... yes, us victorians are such slackers - declaring a public holiday to go to the races. Hey, but at least we don't have a day off for 'bank day' like the NSW-ers. What does that even mean???

it's a beautiful spring day today. and for me, it marks the start of the holiday season. we've had a public holiday drought since June... but there is now the christmas, new year, easter periods to look forward to!!!

i can finally breathe a sigh of relief now that the exam period is over as well. i've caught up on all my series ;p - i just had to. Because you can't watch something, and not know what happens in the end. It's always tempting to just forward to the end, just so you know what happens. Afterall, every story needs it's conclusion, just like every chapter in our lives. A beginning... the journey in between... and an end. Closure, that's what we call it these days. It's a wonderful feeling, this closure thing.
